Welcome to the Jacksonville National Cemetery Support Committee
The Jacksonville National Cemetery, located on 526 peaceful acres in North Jacksonville, began serving veterans and their families on January 7, 2009.
Owned by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and operated by the National Cemetery Administration (NCA), the cemetery provides a place of honor, remembrance, and lasting tribute for those who have served our nation. The NCA oversees more than 150 national cemeteries across the country and ensures that our veterans receive the dignity and respect they have earned.
Jacksonville National Cemetery is expected to serve the needs of veterans and their families throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia well into the 22nd century.
Florida is also home to eight additional national cemeteries managed by the NCA, including Barrancas National Cemetery, St. Augustine National Cemetery, Florida National Cemetery, South Florida National Cemetery, Bay Pines National Cemetery, Sarasota National Cemetery, Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, and Tallahassee National Cemetery.
Our Support Committee is dedicated to preserving the honor, dignity, and legacy of those laid to rest here while supporting remembrance, education, and community involvement for generations to come.
